Ana's Arrow — Reviews

From the Midwest Book Review

Ana’s Arrow is a most unusual crime novel, as the reader can participate directly in the conclusion of the tale, by casting their registered vote for the protagonist’s guilt or innocence at the anasarrow.com website! When a young priest is found murdered with an arrow through the neck, attorney Tom Spaulding is brought under suspicion for the crime due to his connections to the murder weapon. At first Spaulding protests his innocence; then gradually, he learns through a shared dream that his lover Ana Frye is the vengeful incarnation of the Goddess Diana. Did ancient powers compel Spaulding to kill? Or could Spaulding have committed a crime of passion, because Ana and the priest had an affair? Spaulding suffers the manipulations of his enemies, brutal treatment in jail, and struggles for justice and redemption. It is ultimately the reader who must weigh guilt, innocence, truth and lies within Spaulding’s testimony, in this uniquely interactive novel.
